I thought that I was watching a scene from a bad movie twice this week. The first one, about forty people were blaring rap music and yelling and shouting in front of one of the drug houses on Beaverland. It was a loud, wild, and not booze or drug free party. All five of the drug related homes and their wonderful people were involved from what I could tell from my vantage point. The party lasted until about 3am. I called the police three times, but did not see a response from them. Neighbors, unless you want your block and the entire neighborhood to be like this every Friday and Saturday, this was last Friday, you need to call the police and drown them with complaints. I know, I know, they didn't come when I called, so why bother, BUT this is our neighborhood not the thugs and low-lifes who want to turn it into their heaven an decent folks' nightmare. Time to act is running away. We must unite, organize and stop this now.
The other item is I saw tow cars, side by side, racing down Beaverland towards Tireman. All this with parked cars on either side and children playing in the yards and sidewalks. When will this stop! Mark my words, one day, people will be killed by this reckless, wanton, and scum bag behavior. I reported it, but what could they do after the fact. These two nuts were doing forty or fifty in front of my house, and they didn't stop for the STOP sign on Tireman. BE CAREFUL OF THESE STREETS!! These miscreants do not care about our safety or their own it appears,

Those people that live on Beaverland that carry on like they have no home training are RENTERS. It's sad that the home owners move away, and don't really care who or what they put in their homes. It's all about the money. I'm sure they are living quietly.

I have been living here in this neigborhood for 13 yrs. Over the past few years it has gone down so fast,
it's just amazing. Up until this past fall we here on Dacosta have had our moments but nothing like we
have now. Loud music at all hours of the day/night, cars being stolen, broken out windows, and very
suspicious people hanging around. New neigbors with no regard for anyone but themselves. It's
very sad for me to write this but, I'm leaving! I was told a few years ago by a family who was moving,
to do the same. They had seen this happen before to there previous city of Inkster. Well they were
right. From reading your posting of how the cops are not even responding, it's way to late to save
what little is left. I'm not saying this as one who is giving up but as one who is telling those that
they are in danger and if they can to protect themselves and their loved ones. The realality of this
is if you want to stay, you'll need to arm yourself. These people have no regard for authority, and
especially for us! This battle here is lost, however, the war is not over. Take your fight over to
a city that is still fighting for the law abiding citizens.
