Additionally Michigan heat reports that thieves are targeting vehicles for their catalytic converters; due to the valuable metal contained in them. The thieves typically use portable saws and cause significant damage to the vehicle.

There has been report of some drug sales activity in the neighborhood. This is particularly worrisome due the high number of vacant homes in the neighborhood.
