The Detroit Water and Sewerage has created two new numbers to increase call capacity. Effective Monday the new number for customer service will be 313-267-8000, for collections 313-267-8005. The call center will be open from 8-5 weekdays and 8-4:30 Saturdays. The old customer service number will remain active through a 6 month transition period. The 24 hour emergency number will remain the same.
