FWDCA

The FWDCA recognizes that there were problems with the quality of the work performed by the plow contractor on December 19. The contractor was informed on Saturday that the issues would need to be corrected. The contractor came back and corrected the deficiencies on Sunday Dec 21. The FWDCA instructed the contractor to open the center of all streets first, this caused a number of complaints. From now on the FWDCA contractor will work one street at a time. Each street will be substansially completed before moving on the next street, also the contractor will now be using a slightly smaller truck with a front mounted plow to better enable them to get curb to curb on each street. Also it was brought to our attention that people were threating the plow drivers, we would like to remind you that this is not acceptable behavior.
