Police
The entire FWDCA area is served by the Northwest police precinct. You should call the precinct about abandoned vehicles and other non-emergency situations.
Trash Pickup
Regular trash pickup and yard waste pickup is on Tuesday.
Yard waste will be collected on the regular trash day from May- Early December. Yard waste must be in biodegradable paper bags or a personal trash can less than 32 gallons in size.

Southfield Yard 12255 Southfield Service Drive
(Monday - Saturday   8:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.)
 Limit 1 cubic yard or 1,000 pounds per day, per household with proper identification
No construction, or remodeling debris (including shingles), household or commercial garbage, or tree stumps. Properly prepared yard waste will also be accepted at the drop off sites

Snow Plowing
The city does NOT plow residential streets. The FWDCA uses membership dues to pay a private contractor to plow the streets in our neighborhood. Please ensure that you move your vehicles off the street after major snowfalls so the contractor can do a better job. Please do not clear snow from your driveway into the street.
